Over the course of her career as a corporate attorney, an executive and now Executive and Life Coach, Karen Elizaga, has conducted at least a thousand interviews and met with many more people in other contexts. There were people who could walk into a room and just own it. With confidence, poise and strength of character, they were the ones who got the jobs, who closed the deals, or who made the friends and important contacts. They had that certain something.

To figure out what this something was, Karen interviewed successful individuals where she lived in London and later expanded this interview group to include women and men all over the world. During these interviews, she learned of various paths to success and happiness and found that these individuals started building these paths early, beginning in college and even in high school. At some point in their journeys, they became self-aware, conscious that each choice and each step forward would take them closer to the vision they held for themselves. Their stories illustrate that success and happiness begin with a strong foundation and evolve layer by layer. They also illustrate that changing paths to find new meaning and fulfillment in life works, too.
