Everything in life starts with a conversation. In a professional setting, it can be a job interview, the first assignment, a new client relationship... In a social setting, it's a new friend, an exciting romantic relationship, a simple dinner party... But the problem is we have trepidations and self-limiting beliefs that stifle our ability to have effective conversations that will take us to the next level. We worry about whether we are smart enough, whether we're sufficiently engaging, if our work is good enough, whether we have the right answers, if we know what to do in a given situation, whether the other people in the room can tell how nervous we are... These types of insecurities impact our ability to have those critical conversations.

To overcome these obstacles, Forward Options has designed workshops that rewind back to the fundamentals, evaluating issues such as self-love, self-esteem and confidence, as well as the way we communicate with others. We evaluate our skills and values to determine who we are and then work through exercises to illuminate opportiunities. We talk about how seemingly small details can impact your progress, positively or negatively, and determine your path forward. Whether you're 14 or 60, our discussions on self-esteem, confidence and effective ways to create options for yourself will assist you in achieving whatever it is you want.

Karen Elizaga developed the Forward Options Workshops because she realized that it's common to feel like you don't have all the answers. She recognized that even after formidable educations and coveted jobs, questions remain. Karen shares others' and her own experiences to make life a little bit easier for you. Learning insights from the many girls, women and men she's worked with, and from your peers, is the first step to making your journey that much easier, no matter where you are in your progress.

"I have not, to date, encountered a more productive way to spend five hours... It's something to put in a woman's 'toolbox' for when she needs a secret weapon. This workshop was a fabulous experience." SARAH

"I walked away from the workshop with new, invigorated motivation. The Forward Options workshop was a blaring wake-up call. I can't even begin to describe how much I have learned and how grateful I am." LYZELLE
