"The Forward Options program is a lot like an
academic finishing school and provides today's young
women with positive role models from around the
globe."
KALOWENA
For many Forward Options Women, this stage in life got tricky. We felt as though we knew so much but simultaneously like we knew nothing! In this transitional time where you start making real life decisions, many of which seem gargantuan, and which leave you feeling overwhelmed, we're here to help you with them and provide encouragement as you take your first independent steps. Karen Elizaga simplifies transition.

During this workshop, in addition to the fundamentals of self-love, self-esteem, confidence and effective communication, we really focus on the next step. Together with Karen, you explore the basics of functioning in a non-classroom environment; it's not as intuitive as we all want to believe. She helps you as you begin to make decisions about your career and family.

Karen created this workshop at the request of the many Forward Options participants who enjoyed our Workshop for High School Girls. It's a refresher on the fundamentals and provides future direction. You'll discuss:

• Cultivating self-love / self-esteem
• Building and projecting confidence
• Being and presenting your best self (and being true to yourself at the same time)
• Setting and attaining goals
• Interviewing skills
• Workplace and email etiquette
• Career options
• Networking
• Seeking out learning, and perhaps unexpected, opportunities
• Bridging the gender gap
• Utilizing your femininity through empowerment
• Relationships
• Anonymous question and answer sessionthere are no stupid questions
